About Us
Story & Mission
Almalayika Switzerland was born from a simple yet powerful conviction: children must not pay the price of wars they did not choose.
Founded in August 2024 by Swiss humanitarian activist Houaida Sekri, Almalayika is an independent, borderless association based in Lugano – Ticino, Switzerland.
We work to support children affected by wars and conflicts around the world. Our mission is to protect their most basic rights:
The right to education and a safe learning environment.
The right to health and access to medicines and medical care.
The right to clean drinking water and adequate nutrition.
The right to safety, dignity and psychological support.
Our action is purely humanitarian. We do not belong to any political party or agenda. Transparency, sincerity and love for children guide every decision we make.
Our Vision
A world where every child, regardless of nationality, religion or circumstances, can live in safety, receive an education and grow with dignity and hope.
